I have been keeping am eye since the first announcement! Ever since been trying to pick up Godot in my spare time, I have familiarity with coding somewhat (I used stencyl to animate my Wanted head showcase), the only issue is finding time to make the game! I'll send my idea over once I'm sure I'll be able to work on it!
Practicing in five core creative mediums (games, animation/film, music, writing, and illustration), and discovering how the digital world can be used to build them. Have also gone by LDAF (Layering Designed Abstract Forms).

Speaking from experience, if time is an issue, I'd wait until a game jam pops up when you have more time. Thankfully, NG has jams all the time!
